I started my journey into Millinery when making a hat for my young daughter. I have always been creative from a child and had always enjoyed making things.

 After making order requests for friends I made a collection of hats that almost sold out at a local fair.

Working from home was a perfect way to be at home for the children, earn money and be creative.

I then gained my British  trade mark after a worldwide agreement with an Austrian sports company to change my name to Hedkase®

With my label now my own intellectual property Hedkase® was born.

With over 25 years of making hats and clothes and selling them on the Cambridge and Ely market, being offered an amazing opportunity with a top Milliner in London  (yes I turned it down in favour of my kids ! no regrets )  and just loving being part of an  amazing creative community I have found myself kicking and screaming into the 21st  century with my very own online shop. Yes I am very much a luddite.

My drive is primarily to be creative and offer everyone a little taste of what was on offer at the fairs and markets. I am doing 4 fairs per year instead of 25 !

Here you can browse at all my designs old and new and hopefully create your own design made to order with your own choice of colour and size. 

The same high quality fabric design and finish will always be consistent.

Also it doesn't matter where you live as I post out all over U.K.
